Sarah and Duane have been a part of the design industry for over 15 years - originally owning and operating a professional photography studio and traveling the world photographing everything from fine portraiture to landscapes and interiors. Their obsessive eye for detail eventually led to an interest in designing interiors.

"In 2017, after buying our first home and hosting an Airbnb in our own backyard, we really fell in love with everything related to interior design. We wanted our home, as well as our rental, to be inviting and comfortable without sacrificing a timeless aesthetic. That experience completely changed our trajectory and we have been in pursuit of creating beautiful, functional spaces ever since.”

Sarah and Duane now own and operate the multidisciplinary design studio known as Arbor & Co. They specialize in residential home staging, interior decorating, space planning and remodel design. Their projects and expertise are featured in: Domino Magazine, Hunker Home, MyDomaine, Real Simple, Semihandmade’s: Semistories and West Elm’s: Front + Main.
